Patient enquiries or complaints about primary care services
If a patient has an enquiry or complaint, they have the choice to either direct this straight to the service provider to seek local resolution (i.e. their GP Practice usually via the Practice Manager); or to direct their enquiry or complaint to the NHS England Contact Centre on 0300 311 2233 (8am to 6pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holiday) email:firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to: NHS Commissioning Board, PO Box 16738, Redditch, B97 9PT.
Independent Complaints Advocacy
Some patients may require help and support to make a complaint. The Independent Complaints Advocacy (ICA) service provides advice on how to make a complaint. The ICA
for Greater Manchester can be contacted on 0808 802 3000.
